If you are interested in purchasing a granite marker or monument, you need to know that many cemeteries have regulations regarding the size, shape and color of the stone. We will be happy to contact the cemetery to make sure that the style of monument that you want is acceptable.
When buying a cemetery plot be sure to ask the following
questions:
1) What style and size memorial is allowed on this plot; (for example--bronze
marker, large granite monument, etc.)
2) Does the cemetery install the foundation for the memorial and if so how much
do they charge? (This price can vary dramatically, with some cemeteries costing
four to five times as much as others.)
3) Can more than one body be interred in this plot? (For example--Is it double depth
or side by side?)
4) Does the cemetery allow flower vases, vigil lights, statues and similar
items?
5) Is there a charge for perpetual care?
